Hello, I'm Pete Whitehead.
I'm 42 years old, I grew up in Oxfordshire and went to school locally before going to University in Bristol to study Biology.
In 1997 I worked on a British Society for Plant Pathology (BSPP) bursary researching Bean and Millet downy mildew.
From 1997 to 1998 I worked at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, in conservation of rare, endangered and carnivorous plants.
In 1999 I completed his BSc (hons) in Applied Plant Biology.
After studying, I worked in a variety of roles from chemical research to office administration around the UK and in Australia until 2004 when I became a teacher of Science in secondary schools.
I have always been a keen grower of vegetables and, more recently, orchids.

I'll be very happy to help you fill your fridge with organic produce!

I am a member of the British Society for Plant Pathology (BSPP)
